Hatch may provide additional or supplemental privacy policies for specific Services that we offer at the time we collect Personal Information. These supplemental privacy policies will govern how we may process such Personal Information in the context of the specific Service.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Service, including, but not limited to individuals who use, view, or otherwise access our Services, individuals who apply to Hatch or otherwise provide Personal Information to Hatch, and current and former Hatch contractors, agents, and other personnel.

Personal Information you provide to us.  “Personal Information” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. You may provide to us through the Services or otherwise the following categories and specific pieces of information that, alone or in combination, may be Personal Information:

  • Business and personal contact information, such as your first and last name, email and mailing addresses, and phone number, and any of the foregoing regarding your co-habitant, partner or spouse if voluntarily provided by you
  • Feedback or correspondence, such as information you provide when you contact us with questions, feedback, or otherwise correspond with us online

If you choose to apply to work with or for Hatch through our Services or by otherwise contacting us regarding opportunities to become an agent or contractor for us, we may collect the following:

  • Contact Information, such as your first and last name, email and mailing addresses, phone number, professional title and company name
  • Resume Information, such as qualifications, skills, employment or education history, or other resume information
  • Reference information, such as name and contact details of your references
  • Social Media Information, such as if you provide us a link to or other access to a social media account, we may collect or access any information you permit to be shared through or from your social media account and other information depending on the social media platform.

Information we obtain from other third parties.  We may receive Personal Information about you from third-party sources, such as marketing partners, publicly-available sources, business partners, and data providers.

Cookies and other information collected by automated means 

We, our service providers, and our business partners may automatically log Usage and Electronic Information as set forth above. Our service providers and business partners may collect this type of information over time and across third-party websites and mobile applications.

Users of the Service may have the opportunity to refer friends or other contacts to us or otherwise provide us Personal Information of others. You may only submit a referral or otherwise provide us Personal Information of others if you have permission to provide to us the individual’s Personal Information and by providing such information you represent and warrant that you have the authority to do so and to permit us and our service providers to use such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

To operate the Service.  We use your Personal Information to:

For research and development.  We may analyze use of the Service to analyze and improve the Service and to develop new services.

To process applications. We may use your Personal Information to review and evaluate your applications to work with or for Hatch or otherwise respond to you regarding opportunity inquiries.

To display advertisements. We may work with advertising partners to display advertisements on the Service or elsewhere online. These advertisements are delivered by our advertising partners and may be targeted based on your use of the Service or your activity elsewhere online. To create anonymous, aggregated or de-identified data.  We may create anonymous, aggregated or de-identified data from your Personal Information and other individuals whose Personal Information we collect.  We process Personal Information into anonymous, aggregated or de-identified data by removing information that makes the data personally identifiable to you.  We may use this anonymous, aggregated or de-identified data and share it with third parties for our lawful business purposes and as set forth in this Policy. 

For other business purposes. Subject to this Privacy Policy, we may use your Personal Information to engage in other legitimate purposes as required or permitted by applicable law.

Affiliates.  We may share your Personal Information with our corporate parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Agents and Contractors. We may share your Personal Information with agents and independent contractors we work with such as licensed real estate brokers and salespeople who may be individuals or other entities. Your Personal Information is so shared to enable us to offer or provide Services to you.

Third Parties Related To The Services. In connection with providing the Services to you and facilitating transactions, we may share your Personal Information with landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, property owners, and other related third parties.

For How Long Do We Retain Personal Information

We retain Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of providing you the Services and support for prior Services performed for you, satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, to establish or defend legal claims, or for fraud prevention purposes.

What Security Practices Do We Implement

The security of your Personal Information is important to us.  We employ organizational, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, damage, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, as well as all other forms of unlawful processing.  However, security risk is inherent in all internet and information technologies and we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information.

If we learn of and confirm the occurrence of a security incident leading to the misappropriation or accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, your Personal Information transmitted, stored or otherwise processed on our systems that compromises the confidentiality, integrity or availability of your Personal Information, we may attempt to notify you electronically by posting a notice on our Services or by sending you an email or otherwise in accordance with applicable law.

Personal Information of Children and Minors 

The Services are not directed to or designed for individuals under the age of 13 and such individuals are not permitted to use the Service, and we do not collect Personal Information from them.
